About the Pompeii Pendant
A few days ago I went to visit the exhibition about Pompeii that is now on display at the Matadero in Madrid. It is an immersive experience in which for an hour you feel on your skin how its citizens lived, how they dressed, what they ate and what they enjoyed.
I left with many ideas and a desire to immerse myself again in that ancient world that has always inspired me so much.
The antique and imperfect touch of this pendant is for me what makes it special, since it leads me to imagine a Roman woman from more than two thousand years ago wearing it through the narrow streets of this city.
