About the Livia Earrings

When I started researching the Gloria Antiqua collection, I thought: "We all know the Roman emperors, those guys with swords, laurels, and a thousand dramas, but what about the empresses? Maybe it's time to talk about those women who survived in ancient Rome."

One of the most brilliant women of antiquity—and mind you! I'm not talking about your aunt, the one who eats the whole roscón every Christmas and says, "Oh, you look so good! Have you done something to your face?"—but a woman with more judgment, was Livia Drusilla. The empress. The boss. The CEO of the Roman scene.

This empress had a head more furnished than an IKEA catalog. Everyone thought she was there, quietly, counting columns... but in reality, she was weaving the threads of the empire without anyone noticing. Livia didn't need to get upset to make herself understood; she fixed everything with an imperial look that said, "Calm down."

And pay attention to this, because she lived in a time when women couldn't even vote on the water board, and yet she managed to govern with her style, without swords or posturing. If she were alive today, she'd be the queen of influencers, but without filters, calmly, with her perfect hairdo and that "I'm inevitable" face.
